Since exterior work is on hold until the spring, our crews are busy honing their interior plastering and painting skills. In this home on Smith Ridge Road in New Canaan, there was an extensive amount of wallpaper that needed to be removed. After all wallpaper is removed, our painters skim coat by laying a thin, smooth layer of plaster. Skim coating is a technique used to hide imperfections and make a wall smooth prior to painting or wallpapering.
